    Establishing itself as a pillar in the community, The Ritz-Carlton Spa Sharq Village is recognized by Qatar Charity with an award for the charity events and funds that have been organized by the spa for the development of the local community.

    Local practitioner Thippawan Noree introduced her very own treatment, the Fusion Thai Therapy, for the first time worldwide. It is added in the menu of The Ritz-Carlton Spa Sharq Village and still one of the best sellers to date.

  • 2016
    In 2016, The Spa at Sharq Village decides to bring to Doha some iconic fitness and spa gurus. Guests get access to Doreen Bakstad for Ji Shin Do & Acutonics, Doris Delessard for a Sound & Vibrating Therapy, along with 2009 Muay Thai World Champion Hanan Aquino as Muay Thai & Boxing instructor.

    The Ritz-Carlton Spa Sharq Village, Doha welcomes Dr. Rui Pedro Loureiro for the 'Quit Smoking or Heal your Pain' workshop and later that year Azita Angadji to perform Bowen Therapy and the world-famous yoga and wellness instructor Shirali Puri.

    In 2019, The Spa at Sharq Village officially becomes a part of The Ritz-Carlton Spa collection. Following this marking event, this luxury spa in Doha wins the Ohlala Award for the Best Hammam Experience in Qatar 2019.

    After one year as a spa from The Ritz-Carlton Spa brand, offering personalized experiences inspired by the local culture, The Spa at Sharq Village proudly wins the Ohlala Awards for the Best Resort Spa in Qatar 2020 & Best Spa Design in Qatar 2020.
